Should first-time expectant moms receive a Mother's Day present?

blog-0087831001368125926.jpgAlmost 60% of expectant moms believe they should get a present, according to a survey by Eric Mower & Associates. Surveyed moms-to-be said they'd love flowers or a card but really just wanted to be acknowledged.

Grandparents, what do you think? Should first-time moms-to-be expect a gift on Mother's Day?

I think it's a wonderfully caring thing for people to send such cards to expecting parents.

I don't know if anyone should ever "expect" a gift. But I always send a Mother's Day card to any mom-to-be that I know (unless they're superstitious about such things) and I gave my daughter a Mom's Day gift, as well, when she was expecting her first child. It was "from" the coming baby, of course!

I  think a card is a great idea, I'm sure it would put a BIG smile on her face. Gifts would depend on who is giving it, after all she most likely is having a shower for that as a first time Mother.
