We have a hearing on this date so I am hopeful ! Again.... I am making notes as to why I feel it is damaging to my grandson not allowed to know me , I asked what happens in this hearing . My lawyer said the two lawyers will argue , I will be intitled to approach the bench and answer questions that the judge may have for me .

Sigh... Part of me is glad the hearing is coming up soon and another part is sorry that it's so close to Christmas. I mean, if you gain visitation, great - what a wonderful Christmas present! Even if the visits don't begin till after Christmas. But if you don't... oh! I can barely imagine how disappointing that would be!

Perhaps I'm jumping the gun, though, even thinking about that. For now, all you can do, I suppose, is have hope. And yes, of course, I wish you luck! And the kids will continue to be in my prayers - you, too! Overall, I hope everything works out for the best!

Thoughts and prayers your way. My limited experience with this with my sister and her family has been positive, Each judge that she came up against for her battle (different scenerio I know) has been fair and encouraging . My own grandmother used to tell me "the more people that love your kids the better off they are" I couldn't agree more? Good luck!

Hi Rose & Roxie,

Thank you both for your comments. I was told that the judge wants to bring grandparents closer together weather or not my DD and her x ever like me the childs best interest is at stake here and on Dec 23 Rose, I can't see any judge saying no especially after he is told that for 3 years I have been denied Christmas Eve dinner at 6PM because of the demands from the grandfather . If they do that in court and tell the judge they have a schedule and must stick to it yes I would be heartbroken . I have since then discovered the illegal immigrant friend in a not so nice pose on the internet , and I hope to have my say  after some regular quality time with the kids to mention that the grandsons father and the grandaughters father have allowed visits with the children to visit California and for extended time with these corrupt people .

Good Luck with visits. I am also struggling to see my grandchildren. The laws are not the greatest for grandparents who are fighting social services in Wisconsin. We will do everything we can. Keep the faith even though it's hard as I am going through ups and downs. Praying for you!
