What to do if you get a "Wrong Password" message   01/21/16

You must reset your password (even if you know it's the right one) before you can sign into the community. Thanks to the upgrade, there's an issue with passwords and signing in. The good news is that you can click here: http://community.grandparents.com/index.php?/lostpassword/ to change your password (it'll let you reuse your old one). If you can't reach the email address connected to your account then please contact the admin at latoya@grandparents.com and I'll help you sort it out.

  9. From the moment we hear that a new GC (grandchild) is on the way, most of us GPs feel very excited! But along w/ that excitement, often come expectations - how often we'll see that baby, how involved we'll be, what (or who) baby will look like, etc. Some GPs even have ideas about what type of person their new GC , eventually, will be or what career they'll go into someday.   But, of course, not every such expectation comes true. In some cases, not even most/any of them. How do you think a new GP or GP2B (grandparent-to-be) can manage their expectations or deal w/ it if their hopes are dashed? (Please feel free to draw on your own experiences and observations.)

  12. Will the coming Valentine's Day impact on your relationship with your new GB,  at all, do you know/think? Clearly, newborns are "too young" to be thinking about valentines or giving them out to "friends." But will you be getting some kind of Valentine's Day outfit for baby? Or will the parents be and do you expect to get/take lots of pictures of baby in it? Or maybe, especially since it falls on a Friday, the parents will be going out to dinner and you've been asked to babysit?
