      What to do if you get a "Wrong Password" message   01/21/16

      You must reset your password (even if you know it's the right one) before you can sign into the community. Thanks to the upgrade, there's an issue with passwords and signing in. The good news is that you can click here: http://community.grandparents.com/index.php?/lostpassword/ to change your password (it'll let you reuse your old one). If you can't reach the email address connected to your account then please contact the admin at latoya@grandparents.com and I'll help you sort it out.

      Anonymous posting is back   01/21/16

      We've removed the extra step that required you to go to the full-page editor to access the anonymous post option. Now, you can reply to a post and toggle the button to post anonymous (see photo below).    Read more on anonymous posting here:    In short, the mods can see who posts as anonymous, we moderate anonymous posts the same as revealed posts, you can reply anonymously to your own topic, you may report anonymous posts.

Display Name

Question

Hi, how do I change my display name? and when I tried to sign in using my email address and password I receive a message saying email or password incorrect.  Then I asked to reset my password, but have received no email yet to do so. (Kathleenrose)

I just reset my password.  I did have to try the second time for it to work, but you are online so you did manage to get into our forum.

https://aga.grandparents.com/profile and follow the directions there.  You may need to scroll down to the bottom of each page.

You will have to log out and back in again to make it work, so take note of your email addy and password.  I personally use two different email services an I had forgotten which one I was using here.

We do ask for a member to let a moderator know if they have changed their user name so we won't think someone has two accounts which is against our #1 rule.

To do so, you can just leave a note here as to what your new name is.

Currently, to change your name in this Community, you need to follow these directions:

1. click on your username at the top right of this page

2, click on  Account Settings 

3. click on Display Name 

4. key in your new name where shown 

5. press Save.

Your display name will change immediately on all your posts and PMs, etc. in this community only.

The other directions (above posts) are still effective for the rest of GP.com - but not here.
