What to do if you get a "Wrong Password" message   01/21/16

You must reset your password (even if you know it's the right one) before you can sign into the community. Thanks to the upgrade, there's an issue with passwords and signing in. The good news is that you can click here: http://community.grandparents.com/index.php?/lostpassword/ to change your password (it'll let you reuse your old one). If you can't reach the email address connected to your account then please contact the admin at latoya@grandparents.com and I'll help you sort it out.

      Anonymous posting is back   01/21/16

We've removed the extra step that required you to go to the full-page editor to access the anonymous post option. Now, you can reply to a post and toggle the button to post anonymous (see photo below).    Read more on anonymous posting here:    In short, the mods can see who posts as anonymous, we moderate anonymous posts the same as revealed posts, you can reply anonymously to your own topic, you may report anonymous posts.

"Can I go directly to where I left off in a topic?"

This question came up recently in a MIL Anonymous topic/thread. And the answer is yes.

Here's how:

1. Click on a group, such as MIL Anonymous, the General Gabbery, etc.

2. Go to the thread that interests you (threads w/ unread content will be in bold blue) and then, do the following -

3. Click on the dot or star to the left of the title ( a star means you've posted in that thread). This will take you to your first unread post/the beginning of the posts you haven't read in that topic.

Prefer to simply go to the last post in the thread? Then go to the forum and do one of these:

1. Click the date/time of the last post listed to the right of the title under the last poster's name

2. After you have finished reading one topic, scroll down to the bottom-right of the page. If there is a "Next Unread Topic" title posted there, click

    it on.

Prefer to read/reread the whole thread from start to finish? Then do one of these:

1. Go to the forum and click on the thread title of your choice

2. Go to the sidebar on the Index page and click on the title of your choice

3. Click on Unread Content at the top-right of the page and then click on the thread title of your choice. (Please realize that Unread Content also may include blog entries and Gallery photos you haven't looked at.)
