What to do if you get a "Wrong Password" message   01/21/16

You must reset your password (even if you know it's the right one) before you can sign into the community. Thanks to the upgrade, there's an issue with passwords and signing in. The good news is that you can click here: http://community.grandparents.com/index.php?/lostpassword/ to change your password (it'll let you reuse your old one). If you can't reach the email address connected to your account then please contact the admin at latoya@grandparents.com and I'll help you sort it out.

The CPS Experience (possible triggers)

I hope so, too, @neverimagined. But I also hope that the venting helps.

My heart goes out to you for the impending loss of your baby GS. How tragic!

I feel for the parents, too, of course. It definitely sounds to me as if that CPS worker was acting out her own beliefs/prejudices (against people w/ addictions, etc.). DS (dear son) and his GF (girlfriend) are very lucky that they had you to help them fight her.

Also, bless you for having been there for your then-niece/DD (dear daughter)! I'm sorry she's angry about the time you've given to DS' situation. Perhaps when you take that leave of absence, you and she will be able to enjoy some special time together, even if it's just relaxing w/ a good DVD.

I'm glad you're going to take that leave. And I think it was very wise to get into counseling. Hope you continue to reach out here, as well. (((Hugs!)))

I'm sure summer break can't get here soon enough for you. I work in the schools as well (library services) so know how draining the kids can be, especially so close to the end of term...I work with the high schools. Even if you just take a couple of days for yourself will help tremendously.
