What to do if you get a "Wrong Password" message   01/21/16

You must reset your password (even if you know it's the right one) before you can sign into the community. Thanks to the upgrade, there's an issue with passwords and signing in. The good news is that you can click here: http://community.grandparents.com/index.php?/lostpassword/ to change your password (it'll let you reuse your old one). If you can't reach the email address connected to your account then please contact the admin at latoya@grandparents.com and I'll help you sort it out.

Halloween from afar

If you're a LDGP (long-distance grandparent), do you share Halloween w/ your LDGC in any way? Perhaps you send them a Halloween card? Or maybe you get to see their costumes via Skype or FB? Or??

Or if you're a parent of kids who have LDGPs, do they share Halloween w/ them in any way?

No. My MIL doesn't approve of Halloween.

My granddaughter was overseas over halloween and  they don't do halloween in her mother's home country. She just back home  but awaiting her was  a homemade card from me :) that my son said she liked (I included a child safe soft felt halloween pumpkin).  when we skyped this morning she saw me holding the same shape and she giggled.

We took a halloween card and cuddly toy when we visited DS/DIL for a couple of days last week, along with some general gifts (several baby/child books that had been DS's, a decoration for the nursery). DS sent several pics yesterday of DGS in his adorable "trick or treat" pumpkin costume, they went out to several neighbors Tuesday night for about an hour.

Several grands aren't old enough to T-or-T.  They got baby gifts that their older brothers/sister brought home for them on Halloween.

Several live a bit too far away, nobody was sure if they would make the drive (we thought not), their gifts were mailed Wednesday.
